Le Web Cafe
Hann So is founder and President of Le Web Cafe, an e-Design
and e-Learning company. He was CTO at iValueHub, an Internet startup
providing e-commerce enabling and IT Solutions to businesses worldwide.
He is also a consultant to the Executive Education of the Stanford
Graduate School of Business, Stanford, California, and to the Department
of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services of the City of San
Jose. He teaches Web technologies at De Anza College, Cupertino,
California, and at the University of Phoenix Online.
He saw the advent of the new technology in a new medium called
the World Wide Web that revolutionized the way people exchange information
and communicate with each other, and began to explore its potential
in 1993. In 1995, he built the first Cybercafe in Silicon Valley.
He had been featured in the main
business section of the San Jose Mercury News (February
8, 1996), in the Cupertino Courier (April 24, 1996), in the Saratoga
News (May 22, 1996), in the Los Gatos Weekly Times (May
22, 1996), in the Chinese World Journal (February 24, 1996),
on San Jose KNTV Channel 11 ( I had my five minutes of fame
during the special report on the 50th anniversary of the computer),
and on San Francisco Japanese TV Channel 26.
He was awarded "Knight of the Royal Order of Cambodia" on
June 28, 2003-2004.
