Pacific Creations and Yamaguma & Assoc/Design2Market presents a Silicon Valley Overview workshop to IT Executives at the JETRO US Japan Business Incubation Center.

Mary Jean Koontz, president of Pacific Creations, and Steve Yamaguma, president of Yamaguma & Associates/Design 2 Market (YAD2M) welcomed over two dozen IT executives from Japan at the JETRO IBI Incubator last month.

The participating companies are looking to create a Silicon Valley presence with an initial office in the Incubator.

As a primer to doing business here in the Valley, a workshop was presented by Pacific Creations and YAD2M to give the executives an overview of the Valley, trends, resources, and what is needed to conduct business here.

The Japan Economic Trade Organization, JETRO, opened its newest business incubator located at the International Business Incubator in downtown San Jose last November. The incubator is focused on helping Japanese, Information Technology companies launch their Silicon Valley offices.
