Chefs Bite Back, a fundraiser organized by Diane Rose of the Crimson Restaurant in Los Gatos, brought many of the local restaurants and wineries together to dish up a gourmet extravaganza and raise money and cheers for the Second Harvest Food Bank.

With a little help from friends including the Buzbee Group, Silicon Valley BizInk, Valley Scene, and the San Jose Jazz Society, Chefs Bite Back took a "bite" out of the budget cuts that the Second Harvest Food Bank suffered during the current economic downturn.

The event further demonstrated the ability for people to celebrate their community and while raising money for a good cause.

"We'll be back!" exclaimed Diane as she announced that the fundraiser will continue as an annual event.
